Eagar Stake Trek June 4-7 2010

June 4 - 7 Erick and I got the opportunity to go on our stakes trek. It was the neatest thing, we had the best kids and had the best time. I can't believe how strong our youth are they really are a royal army that can withstand anything. Our family was Cass Pond, Melissa Hamblin, Holly Burnham, Julie Reece, Abbie Lucio, Kariah Finch, Kylie Udall, Amy Cluff Duskin Donaldson, Rex Hamblin, Ty Blank, Tyler Hudson, Colten Merrill, Colten Wilson. We were the Choose the Wright Family. I hope we get the chance to go again!

Chandlers Baptism 5-21-2010

Chandler turned 8 on May 8th. He was Baptised by his Dad on May 21st 2010. Kassidy was also baptised on that same date 5 years ago! After the Baptism we had a family dinner. It was a really special day for Chandler. I think he had a really great time because all he did was giggle while Erick was trying to Baptize him. Thanks to all the family and friends that came to the special occasion!

Kassidy turned 13 on May 19th, she is officially a teenager now. She got a makup bag and some clothes! Erick and I took her out to eat at Booga Reds she really enjoyed going out with just mom and dad. Happy Birthday Sweet 13!

She is planning on doing the navit program her Junior and Senior year and becoming a nurse! Proud of you Kassidy!!

4th Grade Science project

For Parkers 4th grade science project he made a pizza box solar oven. It was so fun that all the kids had to make one and try it out. We tried to bake chocolate chip cookies in it. I think it would have worked if the weather would have cooperated with us. You can't cook in a solar oven with cloudy weather. So on to the next Science Fair.

Ballerina Kassidy

Kassidy had her dance recital April 16th. She loves Ballet! She had such a great time. She was such a beautiful ballerina. Genuine Dance performs for two nights the first night I watched it with Erick and the kids. The second night I helped back stage, that was so much fun too, what chaos. What a fun memory!

Saturday Kassidy and Payson had fun playing dishes with the kitchen that Santa brought.
I looked outside and saw this man bonding going on. It was fun to watch. I was so excited to see this happening, because this means that we can pass off something in Parkers Scout book. Yipee! Erick showed the boys how to fix a flat bike tire.

We went tubeing with Brian & his family the day after Christmas. There was plenty of snow, and we were ready to get out of the house, and what better people to go with FAMILY!

Chandler loves to snow board we can never find him one good thing Brian and Ginger shared theirs!

Erick built a sled a few years back, it has been the best and most fun thing that you can ride down the hill. FAST! Brooklyn just loved to ride down the hill. She would lay down on the sled and "hold on tight" while Erick pulled her up the hill to ride down. Kassidy had fun riding down, but not walking back up. She was really pooped when we headed home.
Brooklyn looked like a blue marshmallow walking around. She finally got cold and complained that her feet were cold. Payson didn't feel very well so he sat in the warm car and watched movies and napped. What a fun day!

Brooklyn was old enough this year to have fun with for christmas. Mom had a great time buying all the dollies and dishes and girly stuff.
Chandler gets soooo excited when its HIS turn to open a gift. We take turns opening gifts so we can see what everyone gets. So they open the gift and then we get to play with it for a few minutes and then we move on to the next. It makes the magic last a little longer.
Kassidy was such a good helper. She would help Brooklyn open her presents. She was so patient.
Dad looks like he could have stayed in bed a little longer. Parker and Payson were the alarm clocks this year. 6:00 is a great time to start opening gifts!

Kassidy couldn't keep her eyes open. The reflection of the snow was so bright. She just kept sneezing.

This is the first big snow storm we had. The kids couldn't wait to go build a snowman. We had a two hour delay that day and the whole two extra hours they played outside. Brooklyn and I stayed inside where it was nice and toasty!

This is our annual family Christmas dinner. We get all dressed up, eat a candle lit dinner on my nice china and have a really good time. We have this dinner a week or two before Christmas usually on a Family Home Evening night. The kids really look forward to it every year. Hope we can keep up the tradition!

Merry Christmas Everyone! We hope everyone had a great year!

Erick - is still plugging along with his Cabinet Business. Loving being in the Bishopric with Bishop Brown and Jerry Hathcock. Survived a broken arm and a chipped tooth and a cut thumb. Loves to watch a GOOD movie. Great Daddy and Husband! FINALLY got his Contractors License - Long Story- Is going to be a PA with Ma - Kami- for the Trek this next year

Kami - Released from Relief Society Second Counselor. Called as Kassidy's Primary teacher, and now a new experience, I get to try out being the Primary Chorister. Lost 35 lbs this year, CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Loves reading books when I get the time. Trys to keep up on my blog for scrap booking reasons. Is grateful for the necessities of life. Is going to start boot camp for Erick in preparation for 2010 Trek.

Kassidy - Turned 12 in May. Loves Young Women's! First year at girls camp, kind of homesick. Is a beautiful Ballet dancer, serenades mom and dad every morning playing the piano. Wonderful big sister, great helper, and a very happy girl! Has 4 adoring siblings, loves to sew and make crafts, and has to go EVERYWHERE with mom. Mom kind of likes it though!

Parker - Turned 10 this year. Played Frosty in his school music program, WOW he can dance! Plays the BIG base drum for the intermediate school band, he loves planning activities with the student counsel and also plays the Piano very well. Loves to go to scouts and makes excellent grades ($5 per A) mom and dad are going to be poor! Begs mom to play EVERY sport. We are going to be sports fans or else!!!

Chandler - Turned 7 this year. Started Piano lessons and doing great! Is ALWAYS inventing things. Loves paper, scissors and TAPE. Loves to delegate chores and picking up his toys, he is pretty good at it to. Has the best smile and loves to laugh A LOT.

Payson - Turned 4 this year. Loves Brooklyn so much he can't keep his hands off her. Can be GOOD and BAD! #1 Mario Kart Wii player. Loves to read books and take naps! Loves to eat his fruits and vegetables and thanks Heavenly Father for them often. Dr. says that he is under weight! Gosh he eats ALL DAY! Kind of shy. Goes with G&G Wiltbank to practice going to Kindergarten. Informed me that he isn't good at that so he can't go next year!

Brooklyn - Turned 1 this year. The best baby EVER. Is never bored - always someone to play with. Loves Dollies. Loves to take baths and SPLASH SPLASH! Blows her nose great! So never say the word nose because then she starts a blowing, Kleenex or not! Learned to climb the stairs and slide back down. Is attached to her daddy as soon as he walks through the door!

We cut it off, all off! We gave chandler a NEW DO! It's funny how much they change when you give them a different hair cut. You see how they look like different cousins and family members and such. Chandler was so excited to be able to use HAIR GEL. And he can't wait to go to school he says that no one will recognize him. Mom still likes her baby boys with bowl cuts, but it is a nice change for awhile.

Kassidy had fun painting Brooklyn's finger nails on Saturday. Brooklyn just sat and loved it! We are so happy to have 2 cute girls in our family. How blessed we are!!!!!! I came down stairs a couple of Saturdays ago and look what I found Chandler doing! He has been bugging Erick for awhile about this extra set of scriptures that he had on the bookshelf. So Erick finally gave in and let Chandler have them. It made Chandlers day and he couldn't wait to get up the next morning and read them.

In my family there was always a joke when we were kids. My mom had a plant hanging in the corner by the kitchen table. The plant grew really well and we would always attributed it to all the fertilizer that us kids would give to the plant. When there was something served for dinner that we didn't especially like the plant was the recipient of some much needed fertilization when mom and dad left the room! I think Brian was caught one time, anyway he is the one we tease about it. Brooklyn has come up with a new idea. For some reason when she gets tired of eating her cereal she stuffs them down her jamies. So every time I go to get her dressed I find surprises. So Brian I would appreciate it if you wouldn't teach my children such things. They need to eat their food weather they like it or not!

Capitol Christmas Tree

Saturday November 7th we attended a "Capitol Christmas Tree Celebration." Arizona has the honor of providing the 2009 Capitol Christmas Tree for the US Capitol. The tree is an 85' blue spruce harvested from the Apache Sitgreaves Forest south of Eagar. This is the first time a tree has been selected from an Arizona forest. Parker was able to sing with his school choir at the celebration, it was an historic moment! My camera died so I didn't get the best pictures. The tree is packaged up and goes on tour across the US until it arrives in DC November 30.

Our Family Secret

People have wondered how we get our kids, even Payson our 4 year old to memorize the Articles of Faith. Here is our secret! First of all the prophet has asked us to have family prayer 2 times a day. So we have family prayer before the kids go to school and then before bed. So when we kneel down to have prayer we start off singing a song to bring the spirit and then we repeat an Article of Faith. It only takes about a week of doing it twice a day for them to memorize one. Plus it also helps them learn the Primary songs for the Primary Program. So my Challenge is to everyone who reads this to try it with your family, and you will see how great it is. We are done with the articles of faith so we are moving on to the Scripture Mastery Scriptures for Seminary. You might also think that it takes longer, you know time is rushed in the mornings trying to get kids on the bus and things, but it only takes about 5 minutes start to finish. So come on take the challenge!!!!!!!

Halloween 2009

This year for Halloween We went to our wards Trunk or Treat! We decorated our car and handed out candy. The ward provided yummy pizza and the the Shumways had hot chocolate for everyone. Kassidy Dressed up as a mummy, Parker a pirate Chandler Kung Fu something, and Payson was Batman and Brooklyn was the Cow! After the Trunk or treat we trick or treated at a few more houses and then it was early enough that we were able to come back and the kids got to hand out candy at our house. It was kind of nice to have Halloween on a Saturday this year. It was less rushed and we were able to enjoy it a little more. I hope everyone had a safe and fun Holiday with all your little ones!

Articles of Faith

Fair Weekend - Safford AZ

The First part of October is the Graham County Fair. Erick and I always like to go back to Safford and visit around this time. While we were there Erick and Uncle Gary decided to shoot off rockets and it turned out to be a fun afternoon. Grandma and Grandpa were the spectators. Everyone got the turn to shoot them off. The night before the kids got to paint and glue the rockets and get them ready for the next day - Launch Day- Thanks Daddy and Uncle Gary for the fun afternoon!

RVHS Home Comming

During the week before Home Comming the kids do all different things, like wacky Hair day and PJ day. This is Erick putting pipe cleaners in Kassidys hair for Wacky Hair day. Parker is in Student Counsel and so he got to ride on the Intermediate School Float. Erick and I and the rest of the kids got to enjoy watching the Parade. This time of the year reminds me so much of being in High School. Go RVHS Elks! Go Elks!

Parkers 10th Birthday

Parker turned 10 on September 29th. He got some tec-decs and Legos!!!!!!!! My kids LOVE Legos. On Sunday that is the usual activity, to sit and play legos. He couldn't wait to get home from school so he could open and play with them. Parker is such a good kid. I love to have him help do projects around the house. He is my buddy. When there is a big project to do he sticks it out with me and we get it done. I love working with Parker! Happy Birthday Bud!

Paysons 4th Birthday

Brooklyn turns 1

Yeah! Its Brooklyns first Birthday. Brooklyn turned 1 on August 13th. She was born on the first day of school last year. This year it was tha second day. It was so much fun having a baby GIRL birthday. We have dollies back in our home! So guess what she got for her birthday, a baby! All the other kids had so much fun watching her open her gifts. Sometimes we feel sorry for Brooklyn because she gets malled all the time. I guess that is her test, being the fifth child you have so much help you don't even have to open your own birthday gifts. We had to restrain some older brothers that wanted to help soooooo much. It was a fun night we had pink birthday cookies and icecream and opened her presents. Granny and Grandpa had to come see what the 1 year old got. Happy Birthday Brook we are sure glad you came to our family. WE LOVE YOU!

First Day of School 2009

Our kids started school this year on August 12th. I can't believe that my kids are this old! Kassidy is 12 Parker is 10 and Chandler 7 Payson 4 and brooklyn 1. The years just march on! Going back to school is an exciting time of year. New clothes, Backpacks and school supplies. We have to do a fashion show every year for FHE to decide what will be the first outfit for that first day of school. We usually invite Grandpa and Granny up to see the Show. This year I have two kids at home. Payson will be in Kindergarten next year, so it will just be Brook and I. One at home is so much fun. I have had Chandler home by himself for about 3 weeks and Payson got a whole year, but he got cheated because that was when I was so sick being pregnant with Brooklyn. Those times are special. Just Mommy and me!

School Shopping

This year for school shopping we went to Flagstaff. We like to go there because it is a bit closer than Mesa, less conjested and COOL! We always enjoy swimming in the Hotel pool. This was Brooklyns first experience with a pool. She didn't know what to think, but enjoyed it after awhile. We stayed in the jacuzi, the pool was freezing. We try to make this vacation for the kids so we just relax and do what the kids want to. There are just enough stores, not too many and they are within a few minutes of each other, so we can get it all done within a couple of days. This year Kassidy is our 7th grader and Parker is in 4th and Chandler is a 2nd grader. Payson is excited about starting Kindergarten next year. Payson is practicing going to Granny and Grandpas without mom and dad so he will be ready for next year. I haven't had a clinging child yet. Payson is a bit that way, so it will be interesting. He informed me the other day that he didn't need to go to kindergarted he liked staying home.

Relief Society Walking Party - July 2009

This summer our Relief Society Walked from Sharon Vermont to the Salt Lake Valley! Not really, we compiled our miles that we walk over the summer and say that we walk from one point to another. Along the way, each Sunday we have a cute handout that we give all the Relief Society Sisters. Like we started in Sharon Vermont, Birth place of Joseph Smith so we had Birthday Cupcakes, We traveled through Nauvoo so we made little loaves of bread. The sisters really enjoy all the handouts too, and it includes all the sisters in the ward. We have Perfect attendance! Ha Ha. So at the end of our walking we have a party. We go all out for this. This year Joseph and Emma Smith invited us to their Garden Party! We had the party in our back yard. Erick strung up white lights and Joyce and Jake Zeigler helped with the decorations! It was such a fun night. Joyce always goes the extra mile, she made pioneer sun bonnets for all the ladies. When they walked through the back yard fence they were welcomed by Joseph and Emma and then handed a sun bonnet. Everyone looked so cute and it really set the mood. We ate a yummy potatoe bar and then we were pleased to hear from Joseph ( Keith Owens). Keith and Pam you guys played the part great! Needless to say I didn't know that this would be my last activity as the Enrichment Counselor. I was so sad to be released, it was great working with Kim Hall, Jenny Himes, and Sharon Fisher. We had such a great time together! thanks guys! So on to the next calling!!!!!!!!!!!

Expanding Front Lawn

Payson and Brooklyn just a rockin'. This was my rocking Chair when I was a little girl. I remember rocking my Dollies in it. Good Memories!

This summer we wanted more grass to mow, so we decided to extend our lawn all the way to the far fence. We now have a huge front lawn and we love it! Erick rented a tractor and my dad came over and tilled it so we could plant the seed. This part of the lawn used to be a drive way, so the dirt was really compacted, we wondered if the grass would really grow. But it has grown really well and looks beautiful!

Girls Camp 2009 - Kassidys First Time

Kassidy Got to go to Girls Camp this year! She got a little home sick, but we were proud of her that she stuck it out. These are some pictures that she took while she was at Luna Lake. The girls got to go canoeing, (Sorry if I didn't spell that right.) Erick was able to go be one of the Priesthood leaders the first night, and then he got to go back up the next night with the Bishopric, so I think I get to go next year?

FHE in Beautiful Eagar

Eagar and Springerville is beautiful in the summer, all the Green! Our area communities have made all these walking trails around town. So for a FHE we decided to get the kids out of the house and go for a little walk. The kids really enjoyed going, they really liked the cute bridge and throwing rocks in the water. Yeah Summer time.

My Wonderful Visiting Teachers came to see me yesterday, and the message they brought was one that caught my attention. It made me sit back and think about the sacred responsibility I have to teach and love my kids. I feel that I need to prepare my children for the coming future so they can play their important role they have here to play on this earth. I just hope that I can be the kind of mom that can prepare them and love them, the way that President Hinckley has asked me to. I am so lucky to be able to have 5 of these wonderful spirits in my home.

Bathroom Redo - Yuck!

Chandler and the Piano

Chandler started taking piano lessons the beginning of July. He has done so well the first couple of weeks he was really excited and then you know you go through the" why in the world did I say I wanted to take piano lessons" attitude, but he is really starting to enjoy it again. Rayanne Brown is Kassidy, Parker and Chandlers Piano teacher. Getting our kids up at 6:00 in the morning and having them all practice before school makes it so easy and they enjoy it more and and have a happy attitude about doing it also. Erick and I love the music in our home. Thank you Kassidy, Parker, and Chandler for decveloping your talents.

Great Aunt Kami

Here is Erick's Truck and Trailer that we decorated for the 4th of July Parade. The kids did a great job throwing the candy. We really enjoyed doing this as a family. Can't wait untill next year!

Erick being a counselor in our Bishopric is over the activities committee. So here is the float that our ward put together. We won 3rd in patriotic theme. Erick was so busy for the 4th, I didn't know if he was coming or going! He was in charge of the ward float, the towns Boy Scout Bar B Q, and we also decorated his truck and trailer to advertise our business, Wright Cabinets & Remodeling. Go Honey!!!!!!!!

In 6th Grade, last year, Kassidy took a sewing class. At the end of the year her teacher presented her with her own sewing kit as an award for doing so well in her class. Go Kassidy!!!! She wants to take a sewing class through 4-H next summer. Maybe she will take after her Grandma Carlene.

In June we had a Curtis and Judy Wright reunion. Erick and I invited everyone to the Wiltbank ranch ( my family). Curtis and Judy, Erick & I +kids, Forest & Ashley, Dave & Dana +kids, & gary all came. We had a good time. The first day it was beautiul, but then the good ole wind had to blow. Dana really enjoyed the cow patties all over. We must have been camped in the nightly bedding down place for all the cows, because when it got dark it seemed all 100 head of cows wanted our spot. Dave, Gary, Forest, and Erick all went night fishing one night. I don't know how long they were out it was so late I went to bed. They said the next morning that they spent all night trying to catch a biggie. The kids had fun ridding 4 wheelers and bikes at the track, fishing and just hanging out with the cousins. Parker and Chandler really liked sleeping in the tent with Uncle Gary. I think Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed camping too. Erick turned his cargo trailor into a camping Suite just for them. Grandma was afraid to leave the door open, she might have had cow visitors come climb in bed with her! Dave and Dana, if you know them, they arn't really the roughing it type (sorry Dana) so they got to stay in the "gray house" (cabin) and join us after thier good night sleep and warm morning showers! Forest and Ashley stayed in their RV (or the big rolling turd!) Ashley made us a wonderful breakfast. Her French Toast was sooo yummy! It was a fun weekend, thanks guys! I got brooklyns stroller out the other day and it is still covered with dirt from our wonderful camping trip!

Our big Cottonwood Tree in our front yard was struck by lightning! The day it happened it had been Raining, all of us were in the kitchen and all of a sudden we heard this big thunder and a bright flash of lightning. The ceiling fan sparked and the electricity blinked on and off, we thought that the house had been struck. Erick went out the next day and was saw the tree and thought, that we had more Elk visitors or that the kids had done something to the tree. But then he saw all the bark blown all over. It was all the way out in the street! I hope the tree survives!

Kassidy Turned 12 on May 19th 2009! She has been looking forward to this day for a long time. I haven't I want my baby girl to stay small for ever. But we are excited for all the learning and neat experiences that she will be able to have. We love you Kassidy and are greatful that you are the sweet Young Women that you are! This is Kassidy going to her first Wednesday night activity!

Parker painted and sanded away getting ready for it. Parker took 2nd place in his pack, but then blew everyone away in the District. He won First Place! Go Parker!

Grandma and Grandpa Wright were able to come and visit us for a few days. I think this was their first trip out of town since Curtis had his Stroke. It was so nice to see how much Curtis had progresed. He was able to walk around the kitchen. Payson was in heaven, being able to have Grandma to himself ( all the other kids were at school). He really enjoyed doing puzzles and reading books, and listening to grandma Sing. All my kids love Grandmas songs. Thank you guys for coming to stay with us we really enjoyed it!

Kassidy and Parker Passed off all their Articles of Faith! I guess Kassidy is ready for Young Womens now. Her Birthday is may 19th Go Kassidy and Parker!! Chandler and Payson Know all 13 too, but when it comes time to tell one of the Primary Presidency them they become a little shy. So we are still reviewing so they can do it later. Good job Guys!

Kassidy came running in to tell me that dad (Erick) needed my help, she had this sick look on her face, She said Mom I think dad is hurt. I was just sick and didn't know if I wanted to go see. Now remember Erick cut his finger really bad a few months back so I am remembering all of that. I went outside and Erick was holding his arm and was white as a ghost, he said I think I broke my arm! So I call my dad to come and stay with the kids while I took Erick to the E.R. Sure enough he broke his arm, just above the wrist.
Ericfk was moving his little fishing boat and tripped and the boat fell on him.

So while Erick was laid up for 8 weeks, we decide to do a few things. We learned to can meat,Beef and Chicken. It is so nice to have it on hand, we also did a beautiful back splash in our kitchen. Erick cut the tiles and I laid them. It was alot of fun to have my Husband home for awhile!

I think Easter is my most exciting time of the year. It means that summer is just around the bend. I love Tulips because they are the first ones to pop their heads up. I made the kids wait at the top of the stairs until I could take a picture, they were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought them.

We woke up Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago seeing these deer in our back yard. It was a kind of rainy and overcast day. It was really neat to see them so close up. Erick said one looked like Elliot from the movie Open Season. He only had one antler.

General Conference

Can you tell I am trying to catch up. General Conference was a really fun weekend for our family. Our kids watched all 4 sessions! I couldn't believe it. Our kids were great missionaries. They invited Ethen our neighbor to watch Sunday morning Conference with us. They told him that is started at 9:00, and promptly at 9:00 the doorbell rang and he watched the whole 2 hours of Conference with us. Erick explained when President Monson spoke that this was the living modern day Prophet just like Moses and and all the Prophets in the Bible. It was really a neat experience. It made you watch Conference through new eyes. It helped me realize how blessed we are to be apart of the true church here on earth. The kids want to have him go to Primary with them. They have invited him but he hasn't made it yet, but I guess baby steps.

Sunday's are a "what ever day" at our house. I know that Mondays are cleaning days so isn't Sunday a day of rest? So my house isn't exactly clean on Sunday. Our kids decided to make their own farms. It kept them entertained most of the day. And this is Erick enjoying our homemade Spaghetti. Erick you can't get down from the table until you have eaten everything on your plate!

This is Brooklyn sleeping in her crib! Kassidy was so excited to have her baby sister finally in her room. Kassidy cleaned and set up the crib all by herself. I took down the cradle that Brooklyn slept in, in our room and it kind of made me sad. I knew that I wouldn't have anymore babies to lay in that cradle. We have used the same cradle for all our kids. I guess that chapter is over in my life. It's good to know that all of my children are here, but it is sad to know that I won't have anymore precious new babies.

Spaghetti has become a tradition for our Sunday night dinner. Our kids enjoy watching it come out of the pasta maker. It reminds me of play dough. Whole wheat pasta is so yummy! We have to be quiet about where we aquired the pasta maker though, Uncle Brian you might be missing something!

So this is a great idea for all those non-scrapbookers like me. so I have decided to do this myself so we can have a family blog book for each year. I am so excited! My baby is growing up! Brooklyn has taken forever to decide to roll over, and we said that one day she would roll over and start sitting up, and it happened! She rolled over and started sitting up in one day. She just hasn't had the need to. She knows that all she has to do is start whining and someone would feel sorry for her and pick her up. We are so glad that Brooklyn is our baby girl. Our family waited a long time for her!

March 14th Birthday!

Saturday March 14th was my birthday. I had a wonderful birthday. Friday Erick and I spent the day in Show Low. I was in desperate need of some new dresses, so we went shopping. Erick was so patient watching me try on dress after dress after dress. I some how don't like these dresses that the material hugs your body, I want to hide all my rolls not show them off! Then after finally choosing a few dresses, and of course I had to have the shoes to go with them, Erick took me out to dinner. It was a wonderful day. Then on Saturday Erick laid the downstairs hallway floor, it looks wonderful! The floor had been on the Honey Do list for quite awhile. Karen and Dad surprised me with a birthday cake and ice cream. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Then came the big surprise, Erick bought me a WII!!!!!! So we spent the evening playing it! It was so much fun. I bowled for most of the night, and the next morning I was soooo sore! It was a fun relaxing evening at home. Thank You Erick for making my day so special!

Ericks brother, Forest, got married January 20th!
We are so excited to have another sister -in-law in the family.
The kids are so excited to have Aunt Ashley around, they have so much fun with her.
We went to Safford on February 21st for their reception. It was decorated so beautiful, and the refreshments were great. Crepes table a chocolate fountain ( a Wright favorite), and a candy table. The kids were in heaven. Congratulations you guys!

I know this is late but a few weeks ago Erick was in our back yard getting something out of the shed and he heard something in the forest ( that is what the kids call it) or the lot next to us. He thought that is was a dog or something and he looked through the trees and this is what he found two huge elk. He said that they were rubbing their antlers in the trees. He said it was kind of scary because they were so close! He finally emailed me the picture off his phone. What was so scary is that just the day before the kids went on and "adventure" in those same woods. I guess we need to be a little more cautious!!!!!

Last night Brooklyn was sitting in her highchair playing with toys and I went over to check on her and she smiled at me and I thought I saw something in her mouth and so I put my finger in her mouth and to my surprise I found 2 cute little teeth. She hasn't been fussy or anything. My other kids would get ear infections and be really fussy and have fevers, not a good experience. I love how cute babies are with just two bottom little teeth!

Today is Erick and my 13th Wedding Anniversary! So I would like to dedicate this blog to him.

The last Picture is where Erick Proposed and I finally accepted! We had a wedding picture taken there, and everytime we visit the Mesa Temple we have to go visit our spot. Erick and I took our kids to the Temple Yesterday and took a picture of our kids in the same spot too. The Mesa Temple will always hold a Special place in my heart. It just seems magical when we go there!

Saturday was Jaxten's baptism. Granny gave the talk on Baptism and I gave the talk on the Holy ghost. Granny was drinking water and holding Brooklyn and Brooklyn was just beside herself trying to get Granny's water. So Granny had to share. Jaxtens Baptism was a neat experience. He couldn't stop smiling. Jaxten you are such a special person. Thankyou for letting us come to your Baptism and for letting me tell you about the Holy Ghost. Whoa! Brooklyn is growing up way to fast. I took these pictures about a week ago. She will be 5 months on the 13. She is such a good baby. And we all like to love and kiss on her. She just fits right in with all the kids. I put her someplace and go to check on her and come to find out one of the kids has stolen her and is entertaining her somewhere. She is laughing really good now, and when you get her to stand on her feet, there is no getting her to sit down. She is our chubbyest baby. So all the rolls are new to this family.

This is Kassidy and Parker. Parker and Chandler got pretty good riding the Snow Board down the hill. Erick made a sled out of a set of old skis. I think that was the favorite thing to ride down the hill. It was pretty fast and went far.

Friday and Saturday we went sledding with Brian and Ginger and Bart and Rachel and all the cousins. It was so much fun, it was snowing while we were there. It was such a good after Christmas activity. This is Erick and Payson. Payson wasn't sure he liked the cold snow. The rest of the kids really liked it. It was hard to pack up and go home.

Christmas day was so much fun. It was Brooklyn's first Christmas. She was so excited to hear the tearing of the wrapping paper. Santa brought her a soft baby like Kassidy's. We had a good day of playing, relaxing, and making messes. The trash just kept growing. Now we are just sad that it is over.

Christmas Eve was alot of fun we had dinner and the traditional white elephant gift exchange. I think the kids are getting old enough to know how to play the game now, so it was quite fun. Payson wanted everyones gift. Then we sat and listened to Grandpa Wiltbank tell us a neat story about the Savior. Now that I am older I do miss Dad's lectures and thoughts about the Scriptures. Thanks Dad! Then to finish the evening we opened the gifts that Granny and grandpa gave all of us. They were Pillow cases with our names embroidered on them. Dad and Karen are the most thoughtful gift givers. The kids really enjoyed sleeping on their pillows. We missed Kerri and her kids,and Landon, but we were so glad that the rest of us could be together on such a special night. Thanks Guys for coming!

Here is a recent family picture in front of our Christmas Tree. This Christmas was so nice. We concentrated more on giving to others. Our Ward adopted 6 families in the community that needed help this year. Some people donated money and others food, and others donated their time shopping and delivering the presents. Sister Wilson, & Erick and I headed up the project and we could see all the neat things that people did. Our kids wrapped all the presents for our Family and they were so excited to be able to serve another family!

The Wright Family got to go to Disney Land This past week. It was a blast! Erick had a bad cold at the beginning of the week but by thurs and friday he was feeling better. parker and kassidy were my ride parteners. I even talked Kassidy and Parker into riding the California scream. It is a fast roller coaster that even goes upside down. Chandler is afraid of heights but we got him to ride a cute little roller coaster in Toon Town. He rode it about 10 times or so. It was so much fun to be at Disney land it really is Magical!

Erick and I took the kids over to Snow Flake to the pumpkin patch and the corn maze. The kids were so excited to pick out their own pumpkin. We were glad that Jaxten got go with us too. After the Pumpkin Patch we went to eat at mom's favorite restaurant Eva's. It was a wonderful evening together.

I am kind of behind so I will start with Halloween. Erick and I went to an adult Halloween party. Couples come dressed up, and we bring treats and play games. Glenna Christianson? sp? and her sister Amy are the hosts of the party. It was so much fun! Thanks Glenna and Amy. Erick and I dressed up as farmers and Brooklyn was our Pea Pod. Erick and I arn't really into the dressing up thing so I was trying to think up costumes that didn't involve to much work or embarrassment. Rachel bought the Ann Geddes costume for Payson a couple of years ago and the kids got it out and was trying it on Brooklyn, so I thought well brooklyn has to go so we should do the family matching thing and came up with the idea of FARMERS!

Kassidy got her hair cut on Wednesday. It makes her look so grown up. I'm not ready for that. kassidy is such a great help and a good daughter. she is doing woderful in school this year. She plays the piano so beautifully and I was watching her at dance the other day and she is so beautiful. kassidy's dance teacher took lessons from the famous Cambell's dance studio! does Cassie Morris ring a bell to any one? I am not old enough to have a Jr high daughter nor a 9, 6, 3 and a 2 month old. Here are some updated pictures of my kids. Kassidy got her hair cut yesterday and it looks really cute. I will have to take a picture and post it later. These pictures were taken at Parkers birthday. He got one of those Nerf Guns. The kids had a blast shooting each other. We might get more so the whole family could join in.

Well its about time I updated my blog. I just haven't had time too. School started and it seems that its a race between the time the kids get home from school and bedtime to get all the things we need to get done. Homework, Piano practicing, Dance lessons, Scouts, Showers, Dinner, baby feedings, Diaper Changing plus all the Relief Society Activities and meeting and Bishopric stuff also. This last weekend we went to Safford to visit Erick's family and we stopped by and visited our good friends Jewel and Jason and their family. Jewel and I were laughing because when we first met we had Kassidy and Emma and we were both pregnant with our second babies Parker and Wyatt. Jewel would come over to visit and we would sit on the couch so board, we were so board that we couldn't wait for Erick to come home for lunch so we would have some dishes to wash. We laughed because life has really changed. Jewel four kids later and me 5 kids later. Oh the good ol days. But I guess I wouldn't trade it though. It was so much fun seeing them again. It has been awhile but it was just like it used to be.
